Creatives by nature, intentionally Brazilians.

Porú exists to spark movement within a rigid market, put ideas into action, and bring the creative potential of brands and individuals to life—expanding possibilities through design.

Why do we exist

Companies with diverse profiles—ranging from the highly traditional to the bold and contemporary—as well as real estate developers and management firms that handle complex projects and strategic decisions; clients in search of strategic and creative projects.

Who we create for

Abaporu

In 1928, Tarsila do Amaral painted Abaporu.

The name, derived from Tupi, means “man who eats.”

The work inspired Oswald de Andrade to propose a radical idea: instead of copying what comes from the outside, one should devour it—absorbing references, culture, and history to create something genuinely our own.

It is from this idea that Porú was born: a studio that draws inspiration from art, the city, and everyday life to transform them into design with a distinct identity.
